The A113 is the main Interceptor in use with the Air Force. It is currently protecting our overseas colonies from pirates and slavers.
Harrier VTOL Fighter
The Harrier is the aircraft used on all of Davishires aircraft Carriers. They can take off and land vertically meaning that they can use the smallest airfields. Thanks to this they can operate off of Davishire`s smaller destroyers
These aircraft will be retired from service in December 2012 due to age. A fleet of new aircraft will be purchesed in september of 2012 to compensate for their loss.
A112 Interceptor
The A112 is the main Interceptor Fighter used in the airforce. Primarily based on the Davihisre Homeland to defend the country while the other aircraft are on operations. Due to be phased out by late 2011.
While other aircraft are being refit the A112 aircraft will remain inservice for a further 4 months until April 2012
A114 Interceptor
The A114 is the newest Interceptor in use with the airforce. Designed to fly fast and intercept and destroy threats to the Davishire homeland. This is up to and includes Nuclear Ballistic Missiles . These aircraft are on high readiness 24/7/365 as they are part of our nuclear deterrant speed delivery force.
A101 Interceptor
The oldest Inteceptor in use this aircraft has been used for the last 40 years. This aircraft can carry nuclearwarheads and as such are part of our nuclear deterrant. All of the A101 aircraft will begin a 6 month complete refit from October 2011 to april 2012. New weapons control systems,engines and Flight computers will be installed.
This Aircraft type will leave service in January/February 2013. We will purchase aircraft in november 2012 to compensate.
A115 STOL Carrier Aircraft
A115 has recently been bought by the Air Force to equip the new Month Class Assault Carriers with fixed wing fighter aircraft componant. Around 70 of these aircraft have been purchased to equip each assault carrier with 10 aircraft each or more dependant on the number of these ships deployed. These aircraft will be fully in service by the 1st October 2011.
I3 Recon aircraft
The I3 is the latest Recon aircraft to join the Davishire Airforce. They have a range of roughly 3500 miles. They carry a davishire air command and control centre. They can carry commanders and can control the battle from affar. They carry radar and sonar and can detect the enemy from many miles away. Their are currently 5 in the airforce. 6 more are undcer construction due September 2011
I2 Recon Aircraft
The I2 is the main recon aircraft with over 60 in operational use. They are the oldest aircraft still in operational use and have recently undergone a refit allowing them to be used until at least 2050 which will give them a service life of 70 years.
I1 Recon/Intelligence Aircraft
The I1 is the recently purchased aircraft which has been in service with another airforce for many years. Currently on Maritime search operations overseas.
A99 Fast Jet Trainer
The A99 is the fast Jet Trainer in use with the davishire airforce. In the event of war this aircraft can be used as a recce aircraft.
Hound Multiple Engine training Aircraft
The Hound is used for training the pilots and Navigators of our large Transport aircraft.
Due to their age these aircraft will be retired between December and January 2012/13
Caravan 172 Trainer
This aircraft trains Navigators and Pilots. This aircraft is no longer a trainer and is being used to transport senior officers to and from headquarters and their barracks
A200 Heavy Lift Transport
This aircraft is used to transport large vehicles and dismantled aircraft to the area of operations.
3star Air to Air Tanker aircraft
The 3 star tanker is based across the world for air to air refuelling
These aircraft are due to be retired from December 2012 due to age. The MOD is currently attempting to source a replacement
A201 Medium Range Transport aircraft
The A201 is the main front line transport aircraft in use with the Davishire aircraft although it can also be used for maratime intelligence and search and rescue missions.
A199 Passenger Transport aircraft
The A199 transports Davishires soldiers across long distances to operational theatres. It is also used to transport senior members of the government.
Due to age this aircraft will be retired from June 2013. A replacement is currently being sourced.
H500 Twin Rotor helicopter
This twin rotor helicopter transport is used on the front lines to transport goods and supplies.Can also carry underslung loads. These helicopters can be operated off of the navies assault carriers.
H100 helicopter
This helicopter is a short range transport helicopter which is mainly used on the davishire homeland. The Air Force is currently trying to find a replacement for this aircraft due to its low range and operational innefectivness.
H200 Medium Range Helicopter
This medium range helicopter is flown from our aircraft carriers and is used for search and rescue operations on the Davishire coastline. These helicopters are also being used in the colonies and embassies around the world.
H201 Fast Recon helicopter
The H201 is operated from our destroyers and frigates and also from our aircraft carriers. Can also operate anti-submarine operations.
